The Lure, a series of prints dedicated to the pseudo-journalistic phenomenon termed clickbait. This was an undiluted portrayal of how low brow media sources (Buzzfeed, The Mirror and Huffington Post) rely on sensationalist headlines or eye-catching pictures to attract ‘click-throughs’, thus encouraging the forwarding of the material over online social networks. This series takes the format of ‘art journalism’ with the intention of exposing the visual and literary devices used in clickbait through the aesthetic of printmaking
